To celebrate the nationwide live cinema broadcast of the Award-Winning West End Musical ‘EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE’  to over 500 cinemas nationwide across the UK & Ireland on 5th July STORGY have teamed up with AR:PR to explore the top ten stage and screen productions which have the power to transport you back to the glitz and glamour of high school with their iconic prom scenes. Below is a suggested list of films & productions which embody the magical night of the ‘PROM’, including the dazzling prom featured in the hit musical EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE.

EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE is based on the true story of Jamie Campbell, who, after announcing he wanted to attend his prom wearing a dress, was banned by the school. When prom night arrived, Jamie was turned away by teachers, however, thanks to an overwhelming show of support by his fellow students Jamie was allowed to enjoy his prom night alongside his friends – this heart-warming story led to the incredible theme of acceptance featured within the show.
